I’m in the process of creating an heirloom cookbook!
I’m creating pages in Adobe Creative Suite – Illustrator and InDesign – to be uploaded to a third party site for printing and binding. I’ve asked family members to submit recipes and coordinating anecdotes as contributions to this project. I’m hoping to have at least 100 recipes for the book when all is said and done. I envision it to be a sort of family history in cookbook format…with pictures, stories, quotes, etc. throughout.
Recipe categories include:
- Sauces, Spices and Canned Goods
- Hors D’oeuvres
- Beverages
- Salads, Soups and Stews
- Vegetables and Sides
- Entrees
- Desserts and Sweets
- Holiday Favorites
I’ll be using multiple layouts with various different coordinating backgrounds…see a SAMPLE PAGE HERE.
Will post more examples as they are completed! I’m really excited about this project!
